Newbie

Hi everyone! I just took my first Wegovy shot less than 24 hours ago and could really use some reassurance or advice.

I’ve been having a mix of symptoms that seem to come and go in waves. I’ll feel totally fine, and then suddenly I get really in my head and start questioning how I feel, which makes everything worse. Physically, I’ve had a really dry mouth, no appetite, and this empty/irritated stomach feeling like mild gastritis. Eating has been hard because everything feels so dry, so I’ve mostly been sipping water and protein drinks.

I also didn’t sleep well last night, and I already deal with anxiety, so I’m not sure what’s the medication vs. my anxiety making things feel worse.

Has anyone else experienced this kind of wave-like feeling, especially the dry mouth, no appetite, and stomach irritation this early? Did it get better after the first couple days?

Trying to stay calm and ride it out, but would love to hear if this is normal or if anyone has tips that helped in the beginning. Thank you 🤍
